The Kosciuszko Institute Association

Founded in 2000, the Kosciuszko Institute Association is a leading, non-governmental and non-profit think tank and research institute. Our mission is to act in the interest of the socio-economic development and security of Poland as a proactive member of the European Union and NATO. The Institute organizes one of the biggest and most impactful conference on cybersecurity in Europe – CYBERSEC where it brings decision-makers, experts, and business to discuss security and geopolitics.

Our CYBERSEC Disinfo Lab is a team within the Institute which develops disinformation-monitoring software, runs investigations and explores policy and technological changes with regard to hybrid threats. We are dedicated to the gradual increase of Polish and regional security environment and hence research best practices of strategic communication and incident handling. We cooperate on daily basis with a network of hybrid threat researchers (Open Information Partnership, EU Disinfo Lab’s EDAP network, SOMA Disinformation Partnership) and public (UK/US embassies, Polish government) or private sector actors.
