The Hybrid Warfare Research Institute (furthermore Institute) is a non-profit, non-partisan and NGO organized by a group of former and present high-ranking officials from civilian and military intelligence and security agencies in Croatia supported by several professors from Zagreb University connected and specialized with hybrid, especially information, warfare activities. The aim of the Institute is to encourage, assist, develop, and promote research in the field of international, national and corporate security and the following areas of common interest in the Republic of Croatia and multinational organizations that Croatia is a member of (with focus to the area of Middle and Southeast Europe, and East Mediterranean). As the name of the Institute shows, the main activities of the Institute relate to hybrid warfare activities, especially those orientated against the interests of Croatia, EU, and NATO. Hybrid Warfare Research Institute is main organiser of the Zagreb Security Forum.
