Legal Entity of Public Law (LEPL) Cyber Security Bureau is a LEPL under the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, with the main aim to establish and develop stable, effective and secure Information and Communication systems for the subjects of critical information system of the Ministry of Defence. The Bureau implements preventive and responsive measures to manage actions targeted against information security, cyber-attacks, and computer security incidents. The Cyber Security Bureau defines and develops information security policies in the field of defense and sets minimum information security requirements. The Bureau is authorized to develop conceptual and regulatory documents and legal framework, ensure compatibility with international standards and legal norms in the cybersecurity field.
