Traversals is a young German technology start-up that specializes in using artificial intelligence (AI) and disruptive approaches to optimize publicly available information for situational awareness and crisis management of government organizations, commercial enterprises, and disaster management organizations. Traversals emerged from the environment of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and was founded in 2019 by Dr. Dirk Kolb. Under the aegis of a scientific advisory board, Traversals integrates current research results from the fields of Machine Learning (ML), Big Data, AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) into its developments.
